Come spend a frugal day checking out the hottest food trend in L.A. and S.F.! Today, July 1st, the Commons at Calabasas will play host to “Street Eatz”, a collection of some of L.A.’s favorite gourmet food trucks.
The event goes from 5-8 P.M. and features Crepe ‘n Around, The Sweets Truck, Komodo, World Fare, Dumpling Station, The Grilled Cheese Truck, Slice Truck and The Manila Machine – “Los Angeles’ first and only Filipino gourmet food truck.”
Parking is of course, free, and since all of the trucks are in one easy to access location, you don’t have to run around trying to find them. There will also be a DJ spinning some hot tracks for you to enjoy while you chow down on some bomb gourmet truck food. The trucks will lined up in the parking lot stretching from Rite Aid to Barnes & Noble.
If you manage to fall in love with the gourmet food truck scene and have an iPhone or an Android device, checkout Bistro Chaser, an app that lets you track where your favorite food trucks are in L.A. and S.F.
